We'll spend some time in class planning fabric placement and usage so feel free to bring extra choices. 
To make quilt as shown:

·        ¾ yard each of 2 light small-scale prints for block backgrounds

·        ½ yard each of 4 prints for star points—2 pairs of complimentary prints, close in print size & value (pinks and blues in quilt image)

·        ¼ yard each of 6 assorted prints in a range of colors. To achieve the effect shown, pair up prints in terms of color and style—so two ¼ yards of greens, two ¼ yards of blues, two ¼ yards of purples, etc.

·        1 yard for pieced border

·        ½ yard for binding
