78" x 84"
To make the quilt as shown, you'll need these supplies:
Shazam is made with a color progression of 26 different small-scale prints. If you are unsure about how arrange your fabrics for a smooth color flow, then I recommend bringing 3/8 yard each of 26 prints. You’ll only need about 1/8 yard of some and ¼ yard of others, but having the 3/8 yard of each option will allow you to experiment with color placement in class.
If you want to buy only what is needed, then bring:
· 1/8 yard each of 5 fabrics. These prints appear in the 2 corners of the quilt and only appear in 1 or two blocks
· ¼ yard each of 15 prints—these prints appear 4 blocks
· 3/8 yard each of 5 prints—these prints appear in 6 blocks
· 7 ¼ yards of a near solid for background
· ¾ yard binding Notebook, pen, and pencil
· Paper bag for trash
· Seam ripper
· Straight pins
· 6" x 12" ruler
· Thread snips
· Rotary cutter
· Rotary cutting mat—minimum size 12” x 18”
· Ruler—6” x 12” or 6” x 24”
· Neutral sewing thread to match fabrics
